Ski Cross Olympic Champion Ryan Regez Starts the Season and Will Be a Sustainability Ambassador at UMB.
Cham, January 26, 2024 - UMB and Ryan Regez are teaming up for the 2023/2024 ski cross season again. The exceptional eco-conscious and vegan athlete is also our new Sustainability Ambassador (or sustainability 'Tschugger,' which is colloquial for cop in Swiss German). The Olympic champion and overall World Cup winner has been sponsored by us since 2022/2023. Unfortunately, he was injured at the beginning of last season in Arosa and had to take a break for over a year. UMB supported him during this difficult time. They also worked together to uncover UMB's potential for sustainability improvements.
#CompanyRyan Regez will celebrate his comeback on January 27/28, 2024: For the first time this season, he will be at the start of a World Cup in St. Moritz with his black and yellow UMB creating time helmet. Ryan Regez comments: "I'm really looking forward to finally being able to give my best on the slopes after my long injury break. And I'm looking forward to helping my sponsor UMB make ecological progress as a sustainability ambassador."
Self-critical UMB campaign on the topic of sustainability
The joint advertising productions will revolve around the issue of sustainability. As a sustainability ambassador - or sustainability ‘Tschugger’ - Ryan Regez will comment on UMB's efforts to protect the environment in entertaining spots on social media. UMB knows that the company is not yet one of the best when it comes to ecology. That's why Ryan is going to show how we can improve.
