Before hospitalization
The digital Patient Journey allows patients to view and complete forms and information about their hospital stay, select specific services, and securely manage documents from home on their tablets or smartphones.
During hospitalization (inpatient)
Digitization at the bedside brings many benefits to patients. For example, they can use the TV or radio, make phone and video calls, choose from a selection of movies or surf the Internet, and access medical information through the patient portal. They can use either the pre-installed patient terminals or, thanks to BYOD (bring your own device), their own tablets or smartphones - convenient and right at the patient's bedside.
Infotainment
During ward rounds at the patient's bedside, physicians can view additional information, such as X-rays, via a secure connection on the patient terminal. Patients can also access general information about their hospital stay and care, as well as educational videos about a specific procedure or rehabilitation.
Through a messaging service, patients can receive automated messages to assess their own pain levels on the terminal, or surveys to evaluate their hospital stay.
A digital bell can be used to display possible services on the screen. This allows caregivers to distinguish between an emergency and a service request, avoiding duplication of services.
Appointment calendar
Got an appointment at the hospital? The Appointment Calendar feature lets you view it easily, clearly, and in a customizable way. Get additional information about the doctor or therapist treating you, or the building and room you are looking for. Wayfinding integration makes it easy to get directions.
Wayfinding and actively guided navigation
Finding instead of searching: Patients can display points of interest in the hospital, such as the cafeteria or treatment rooms, choosing from options such as barrier-free or fastest route or displaying the route in number of steps including floor changes. They can also easily enter the desired start and destination manually.
Whether calling up locations or selecting a specific route, patients are actively and precisely guided thanks to beacons or WLAN triangulation.
Digital ward rounds with video conferencing in the patient's room
With our solution, doctors and nursing staff can connect directly with their patients via SIP video conferencing. This allows them to conduct virtual rounds or consultations with patients. Patients can also connect with their relatives and friends.
After your stay in hospital
After their hospital stay, patients can use the Patient Journey to record information about their recovery, view and download their next appointment or personal medical reports, and participate in virtual visits for follow-up care from the comfort of their own home using telehealth and video telephony.

Cybersecurity White Paper
In its white paper Enhancing the cybersecurity posture of swiss healthcare institutions from 2024, our partner C2SEC, a global cybersecurity technology company, published important findings on the Swiss healthcare sector. The attack surface of 43 Swiss hospitals and 212 clinics was analysed and evaluated in accordance with the industry-specific security guidelines of the national cyber strategy NCSC.
The results are alarming: over 10,000 critical vulnerabilities were found, for example in encryption and patching. This makes it clear that vulnerability and asset management requires a structured approach. Furthermore, 1391 exposed logins were identified, which emphasises the need for consistent multi-factor authentication. You can find out more about this and other finding in the white paper.
