The Copilot specialisation, available since autumn, distinguishes Microsoft partners who have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio and Agents. By obtaining the Copilot specialisation, UMB impressively underscores its comprehensive expertise in the area of modern work. This is already the sixth Microsoft 365 specialisation that UMB has been awarded. Only a few Swiss Microsoft partners can boast this achievement.
Microsoft Copilot Business – full functionality at a low price
Now is a particularly good time for SMEs to talk about Microsoft Copilot. Since December, all customers with a Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard or Premium licence have been able to purchase a Copilot Business licence at a 30% discount. Find out more.
‘Business licences’ are limited to a maximum of 300 users and normally have a restricted range of functions compared to ‘Enterprise licences’. This is not the case with Copilot Business. Despite the reduced price, there is no functional difference between Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Business!
Unfortunately, SMEs that use an Enterprise licence such as Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 cannot benefit from Copilot Business. This is because it is not the size of the company that matters, but which basic licence the end user employs. Copilot Business can only be used in combination with Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard or Premium.
Even cheaper thanks to promotion and strong pound
Microsoft is announcing the launch of Copilot Business with a promotion: if you purchase at least 10 licences, you can get Copilot Business in combination with the basic licence at an even lower price. If you also take into account the price reduction announced for 1 February 2026 due to exchange rate compensation, you can get Copilot Business for more than 70% less than the previous Copilot licence.
