According to the Swiss Federal Reporting and Analysis Centre for Information Assurance (MELANI), a number of businesses were attacked, their corporate networks successfully infiltrated, and their data encrypted to blackmail them. The attack scenarios are known; defensive measures can be taken.

NetScaler from Citrix is now called ADC (application delivery controller). ADC increases the availability of applications, accelerates them, reduces their workload, and makes them more secure.
